Vintage Revival 14K Gold Mesh Slide Bolo Chain Citrine Amethyst Peridot

Now, this is not my usual kind of jewelry- I am almost usually only interested in antique jewelry- but this is so cool and so well made, I just had to buy it!
This necklace has BIG impact but is obviously not costume. Made of solid 14k gold (professionally tested) and semi precious gems, it reminds me of a modern version of the Victorian slide or bolo necklace. The slide does move so that you can adjust the end chain to various heights and lengths. I just adore the tips, which look like tiny ship lights. They are made so that light can pass through the gems. the very end of the tips are embellished with a cabochon. The gold has developed a lovely rosy patina which can be easily removed if desired.
This necklace weighs an impressive 26.1 grams of gold! Each side of the chain measures 12" for a total of 24", but where the chain falls will depend on where the slide is set. The chain fits snugly through the slide so it stays firmly in place. The chain has a great satin, snake like feel and is 4 mm wide. It is stamped 14KMG Co. on both ends near the clasp.
This necklace looks terrific when worn with that little black v neck dress or retro pantsuit!
