Antique Orange Striped Agate Heart Watch Chain Necklace

This wonderful, exquisitely carved striped agate heart emits a warm glow! The heart is attached to its original watch chain which is stamped 1/10, indicating to that 1/10 of its weight is gold. This is an early type gold filled material, containing more gold by weight than modern gold filled. The company stamp is A&Z. An additional antique gold filled chain was added in order for it to be worn as a necklace. The overall length is approximately 19". Antique striped agate hearts are hard to come by, especially in the orange color, and this one is a fine example free of chips or scratches. The A& Z chain has a subtle design chased on the curb links and no visible wear to the gold surface. The flat curb chain has some wear when viewed with loupe.
