Incredible Edwardian 15k split pearl winged heart locket necklace, dynamic!

This very beautiful circa 1900 necklace has a removable heart locket, so it can be worn three ways! The wings are rivited and made to open and close narrower, allowing a seamless transition from chain to wings. This is truly the finest example of its kind. Note that the wings are nicely reinforced on the back side of the pendant with graceful ribs to prevent damage. However, the wings are nice and substantial and sculptural in their three-dimensionality. Even the clasp is special with its hand engraved embellishment. The clasp snaps securely into place. Although unmarked, this piece was acid tested by my jeweler and is approximately 15k gold.
