Georgian Rose Diamond Topaz Garnet Cameo Brooch

The colors of the gemstones in this antique brooch perfectly compliment the shell cameo! This brooch is studded with tiny rose diamonds, golden topaz and burgundy garnets. with some pastes mixed in. Hand cut fret work encircles the cameo. The cameo is in excellent condition. There is a very small area missing on one side of the wreath, but this is not readily apparent. There is a stone missing in the flower at the bottom. It measures 1 3/8" top to bottom. tudging from the purple color, The cameo appears to be carved from abalone shell. Overall, it is a very pretty and colorful piece with great age.
