Fabulous Victorian Gargoyle Watch Chain 9k solid gold chain and 12k heavy gold shell and gold filled additions

Show off your wild side with this little monster! This wonderful watch chain features the best little gargoyle. Best of all, I have extended it using all antique Victorian elements including a fabulous watch hook!  Everything about this piece is unique including the solid gold chain which was carefully tested by my jeweler as 9k. The end caps and Gargoyle test as 12k, however it is likely that these elements are heavy gold shell as they are soldered together from two halves and weighted inside. I had the ring over the gorgoyle's head built up with gold as it had thinned over time. The watch hook is a heavy gold fill/ shell. It is fabricated of two sides soldered together and due to this fact, most watch hooks should never be squeezed to narrow its opening. This could crack it. It's choker length keeps it from coming open.  An additional early swivel hook was added so that the necklace is fluid and parts lie flat. The 1" flat curb chain is also heavy gold fill. The watch hook also swivels. It measures 15 3/4" total length and is shown on an average size neck.
