Fabulous and unique 18k French hatpin conversion Pendant with diamonds set Ajoure

This unique pendant was a beautiful hat pin, but much more wearable as a pendant. The gleaming satin surface of this sculptural pendant is embellished with 7 tiny diamonds meant to be viewed from all vantage points, allowing light through. The steel top remains, encircled by a gold ring and custom shaped top which tests about 12k gold. The top was made from recycled antique gold. Because the steel top is present, the pendant looks beautiful on either a gold or silver chain. The pendant measures 2" to to bottom. The photos of it being worn are to illustrate how it could look at various lengths. I am partial to the antique sterling deco chain. It is also available for purchase separately. The gold chain is also available for separate purchase, however I feel that a rounder link may work better. There is the French eagle punchmark for 18k gold at the top of the twirl in the center.
