Austria Hungary 14k Gold Long Guard Chain

Long enough to wear doubled or as a single long chain, this beautiful gold necklace bears the fox head stamp which was used until 1922 on gold items with a 14k gold quality. The small curb links are interspersed between long tapered links, which was a popular chain style during the first quarter of the 20th century. The fox head is stamps on several of the links and the original spring ring is working well. The chain measures just over 34" in length and the chain weighs 9.43 grams.
