Antique Victorian Coral Pearl Horseshoe Pendant Good Luck c.1880

This beautifully wrought good luck. Horseshoe Coral pendant is from the Victorian era. It features beautiful. Natural unpolished Coral half domes and tiny pearls set in silver. It began as a brooch which would have been born with the points of the horseshoe facing down as was customary at the time. It has been made into a pendant and includes a a vintage silver bale and chain. The horseshoe represented. Good luck to the wearer during the 19th century and still considered a good luck charm today.
